Honest Rider - Thank You! - "This past weekend (2/17-18) when I was riding I lost my digital camera. I noticed this about 20 miles into my ride. I back tracked and came across a branch in the middle of the trail with my camera on it. I just wanted to say "thank you" to whoever found it. That's an honest rider." - Keith Freeman

REWARD!! -  The Rangeley Lakes Snowmobile Club is offering a $1500.00 reward to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of the snowmobiler who assaulted an RLSC Trail land owner on Sunday December 30th @ 3:30pm.  The assault occurred on the ice at Russell Cove where the trail crosses Route 4 in front of the ClubHouse Restaurant and ends at the lake. The assailant was a male, well over 6 feet tall and may have been driving an orange snowmobile with a Non-resident Maine registration.  There was a female and two or more other males in his riding group.  This group may have been in the area for more than just that day.
If you have any information please contact Club President, Steve Dudley @ 207-864-5919 or through our web site mailing address below. You may also contact the Rangeley Police Department at 864-3579. We have a procedure in place to protect your identity if you wish to do so.
This short trail from Route 4 to the Lake is a vital link in our trail system. Losing it would be a disaster for local businesses and for snowmobilers.  This was the most despicable act by a snowmobiler that the RLSC has ever encountered.  We want this person punished. We need to stand up to the increasingly rude and dangerous behaviors occurring on the trails.

Rangeley Makes Boston Globe -  Check out the great article in the Globe that appeared on 1/3/07 featuring our trail system and RLSC members Brian Kelly and his family.

2008 Trail Maps Now Available - A number of trail changes and closures this season are easily interpreted with our new maps. See our Trail Maps page.

New RLSC President - Clark Allen has stepped down as President of the RLSC and Steve Dudley was elected to lead the club at the June meeting. Fortunately for the Club, Clark has been elected to the Board of Directors, so he will continue to provide us with his years of experience and expertise.  Clark accomplished many key improvements to Club operations and to our trail system as President and we will always be grateful for his leadership and many accomplishments.

2008 RLSC Officers - At the June business meeting the following officers were elected: Steve Dudley, President; Don Dumont, Vice President; Gail Gavigan, Secretary/Treasurer.
