Current Trail Conditions

***PLEASE RIDE RESPONSIBLY***

Important Messages

Trails are closed but you may ride where there is snow at your own risk. There is still plenty of snow just north of Rangeley. Please respect landowners and avoid riding on unfrozen ground or parking anywhere that obstructs traffic or logging operations

The lakes continue to support very good riding. They are flat and have snow cover.  These are options for late season rides. Be aware that there are open water areas now as the lake levels fall.     Lake riding is never “safe”.  The RLSC does not have any trails on lakes, ponds or flowing water

Trail Conditions

 Trails are closed.

If you continue to ride please do not ride on bare ground near Rangeley and Oquossoc.

Riding up around East Kennebago Mountain and Tim Pond is possible.

Riding up ITS 84 toward the off-trail border areas is possible

Back country Riding toward the border is good

Consider gassing up with your trailer and then parking at a trail crossing to unload your sleds.  There is parking along Route 16 in Oquossoc and several locations where you can legally park near a trail crossing in the Rangeley area.

All trails are officially closed.
