We need your donations! |
Last update 11/10/2008
Last year the groomer barn was built. The barn has no water and no sewer, hence, no bathroom. We are hoping to raise money this year to have this work done. The barn has been such an asset to the club and we will really get the full value of it this winter when the guys can leave from the barn to go out grooming and return to the barn to work on the equipment and get it ready for the next trip. We are looking for donations of mechanical tools for the barn. We all have a few duplicates or old tools we no longer use. The guys at the barn would sure welcome anything you can spare. Just call Clark at 207-864-2039 if you have anything you can donate.

4/3/05 Note: The Groomer Barn had been completed! Stay tuned for pictures of the finished project and Donations plaque. We are still accepting donations for this project. The club had to use about $12,000 of its money to complete the project and we will continue fundraising until this money is put back in the Club’s operating account.
The ONLY way we can fund the groomer barn work is through fund-raising, donations and volunteer help. The Club cannot afford to take money out of the general fund for this barn. We cannot jeopardize our finances and take the chance that we wouldn't have the money to maintain our trail system when winter weather rolls around. Fund-raising will be ongoing throughout the season to help with this project. So, if you do make a pledge, please consider it a serious commitment. We will be depending on these donations. If you have any questions, please write to the club at the address below or you can e-mail Clark Allen or club secretary.
We can do this!! But we need help from everyone! And, no fundraising effort, no matter how small, should be dismissed.
Thank you in advance for your assistance. We are sure you will understand the importance of this request.
